Send Files (to Workspace Members)

Modified on Tue, 1 Apr at 11:04 AM

This guide explains how to send files to other members within your BLAZE Quantum workspace.

Supported Plans

This feature is available on all plans, including the free plan.

1. Getting Started

Log in to BLAZE Quantum and make sure you're on BLAZE Transfer.

2. Send Files

From the left-hand menu, click Send Files.

3. Select Files

Click the area labeled “Drop a file or click to upload” to choose a file from your device, or simply drag and drop files into it. You can upload multiple files at once, but the size limit depends on your plan and usage.

4. Send to: Workspace

To send files to members within your workspace, click on the "Workspace" tab.

5. Select Receivers

Choose the members you want to send the files to. You can select multiple recipients.

6. Enter a Title

Enter a clear subject so recipients know what the file is about.

7. Set Retention Period

Set how long the data should be available to the recipients.
The maximum retention period depends on your plan:

  • With the Pro plan or higher, you can send unlimited-size files for up to 30 days.

  • If you set more than 30 days, it will consume your BLAZE Drive storage.

  • Files are automatically deleted after the retention period ends.

8. Send

Add a message (optional), then click Send.

BLAZE Quantum uses end-to-end encryption—files are encrypted in your browser before being uploaded. They’re stored in encrypted “packages” on the server.

Once all files are encrypted and sent, click Close.

9. Access Received Files (For Recipients)

From the left-hand menu, go to Files & Portals, then click the Received tab. You’ll see a list of all incoming packages.

From the Actions menu, you can:

  • Download: Get all files in the package

  • View details: View package info

  • Share: Forward the package to other members

  • Copy to BLAZE Drive

  • Upload to OneDrive or Google Drive

In the details view, you can see a list of files in the package and download or preview them individually.

You can also switch the preview mode to view the thumbnails.
