Receiving Files via Portal (Drive)

Modified on Wed, 2 Apr at 12:05 PM

In BLAZE Quantum, you can receive files from users who don’t have a BLAZE Quantum account using the Portal feature.

While both BLAZE Transfer and BLAZE Drive support portals, there is a key difference:

  • Transfer portals have a limited link validity and file retention period.

  • Drive portals allow you to store received files permanently.

Common Use Cases for Portals:

  • Collect information from the public via a link on your website

  • Use it as a secure contact form

  • Include the link in your email signature to receive large or sensitive files

Supported Plans

Available for workspaces on the Standard, Pro, or Premium plan.

1. Getting Started

Log in to BLAZE Quantum and make sure you're on BLAZE Drive, then click on Portals.

  • Expiration Date: Set an expiration date for the portal link (can be extended)

  1. Select the file(s)

  2. Enter a title, email address, and optional message
