This guide explains how to send files by generating a shareable link. This feature is ideal for sharing files with recipients who do not have a BLAZE Quantum account.
Supported Plans
Available on all plans, including the free plan.
1. Getting Started
Log in to BLAZE Quantum and make sure you're on BLAZE Transfer.
2. Send Files
From the left-hand menu, click Send Files.
3. Select Files
Click the area labeled “Drop a file or click to upload” to choose a file from your device, or simply drag and drop files into it. You can upload multiple files at once, but the size limit depends on your plan and usage.
4. Send to: Link
To send files via shareable link, click on the "Link" tab.
5. One-Time Password (Optional)
To restrict access to specific individuals, enable One-Time Password (OTP). Recipients will be required to verify their email address before accessing the files.
To add multiple email addresses, separate each one with a space, comma, or tab key.
Note: This feature is only available for Pro plan and above.
6. Enter a Title
Enter a clear subject, so recipients know what the file is about.
7. Set Retention Period
Set how long the data should be available to the recipients.
The maximum retention period depends on your plan:
With the Pro plan or higher, you can send unlimited-size files for up to 30 days.
If you set more than 30 days, it will consume your BLAZE Drive storage.
Files are automatically deleted after the retention period ends.
8. Send
Add a message (optional), then click Send.
BLAZE Quantum uses end-to-end encryption—files are encrypted in your browser before being uploaded. They’re stored in encrypted “packages” on the server.
Once the files are sent, a download link will be generated.
Copy this link and share it with your intended recipients.
9. Accessing Files from a Link (For Recipients)
Recipients can access the files by visiting the provided link.
10. One-Time Password (OTP) Verification
If OTP is enabled, recipients will be asked to enter their email address.
A verification email will be sent to that address.
Enter the one-time password from the email to access the files.
