How to Change Workspace Ownership

To transfer ownership of your workspace to a different user (email address), follow these steps. You can skip to step 4 if the new owner is already part of your workspace.


Note:

When you transfer ownership of a workspace, the new owner must add a payment method to ensure subscription renewals continue without interruption.



1. Invite a new user

Sign in with your original (current owner) account, and go to Members in your current workspace and send an invitation to an email address.





2. Accept the Invitation

Check your inbox, open the invitation email, and complete the sign-up or login if this email already has an account with BLAZE Quantum.





3. Join the Workspace

After logging in with your new account, you’ll see a notification at the top. Click it and accept the invitation to join the workspace.





4. Assign Ownership

Sign in with your original (current owner) account and go to Members, find your new account, and change its role to Owner.





5. Confirm Ownership Transfer

Sign in with your new account to confirm that the ownership change has taken effect.





6. Payment method

If your workspace is on a subscription plan, make sure to add a payment method to avoid any interruptions in service during renewal.
